Japanese News Week 10

The Foundation students have been learning the names of colours. They have been practising the names of colours in a various ways, such as singing the song "どんな色が好き  (What colour do you like?)",  playing a game, doing colour by numbers and word search, etc. The Level one to six students have continued learning about Olympics. The Year One / Two students learnt to make a statement about what Olympic event their favourite Olympian participates in. The Year Three to Six students have done a research on their favourite Olympian and created his/her profile including the information, such as his/her name, nationality, the event he/she participates in and what he/she likes. The Year Three / Four students created the profile on a poster. For the Year Five and Six students, have to also include what the Olympian does for the event, e.g. Emma McKeon is a swimmer. She swims. They have presented their profiles in their chosen methods, such as a poster, a slide show, video, etc.
