Year 12 Camp

by Faya Mrad

In the first week of term 2, the Year 12 cohort attended The Summit Camp in Trafalgar, from April 17th to 19th.

Students participated in a fun rotation of activities, designed to challenge, support, and prepare them for the exciting year ahead. Students set challenges for themselves and supported and encouraging each other as they conquered each hurdle.

Students participated in a diverse activity rotation, pushing their limits on the high ropes course, conquering their fears during the "Leap of Faith," and working together on the thrilling Monster Course. These experiences were not just about physical challenges; they fostered teamwork, resilience, and a sense of camaraderie amongst our year 12 cohort.

Wellbeing presentations provided valuable insights, while dedicated sessions focused on English and VCE-VM subjects, keeping a balance between learning and adventure.

The first night featured a lively trivia night, providing a chance for students and staff to unwind and connect in a more relaxed setting. A highlight for many was undoubtedly tackling the infamous monster course together on the second day. It was a true test of resilience and collaboration.

A huge thank you to all the staff who made this camp such a success in creating a memorable experience for our year 12 students.

The Year 12 camp truly fostered resilience, teamwork, and a sense of community within the year 12 cohort. The memories and bonds formed will undoubtedly stay with our year 12s as they embark on the final leg of their VCE journey.

We look forward to seeing how these experiences translate into a positive and supportive environment as they navigate their final year of school.
