School Council Introduction

Hi everyone! I'm Theresa but you can call me Tess or Lady-limps-a lot (my new nickname) as I recently broke my leg. I have two smiley, shy kiddos (Sofia- Foundie, and Rafael - year 3) and this is our first year at BNWPS. I work at The Man Cave, a mental health charity, as the finance lady. I love working with nice people to enhance processes and order, which I why I thought I would like to join the school council. I look forward to meeting more people soon when I am back on my feet. Cheerio!

Hi, I'm Jack Furphy. The father of Hugh (grade 3) and Mabel (grade 1). I joined the school council wanting to support the school and its broader community.

I’m Jess Borger, mum of Abel in year 5, and I’ve enjoyed being part of the BNWPS community since Abel started in foundation. I’ve participated in the WMM, excursions and school camps and feel part of being a role model to Abel is to show how important it is to contribute to your community. For this reason and to draw on my academic education profession, I felt it was time to help contribute my professional skills to help strategic planning at the school. Please stop me in the school ground anytime - and I’m also interested to hear from the kids and know what they think we can do to make their school better!

School council is a great way to learn more about BNWPS and make a positive impact.

My name is Aleesha Harrison-Grace. I have a daughter in Foundation this year, and I am excited for her to begin her education journey with all of you. I am an advocate for public education and that is why I have joined school council. I am looking forward to contributing to a welcoming, kind and positive school community at BNWPS. I encourage parents to get in touch with me or any of the school council members if you have any ideas/issues to raise.
