International Student Program

This semester has been a busy one for the International Student Program. 

• Students and teachers held an activities afternoon for Harmony Week in our Language Centre, including Chinese chess, mahjong, origami and calligraphy. 
• Our students also participated in the swimming and athletics carnivals, earning ribbons galore!
• The ELC students have been working hard in the English Language Centre, and enjoying badminton tournaments in the gym. 
• The group had a great time on our favourite excursion to Funky Farm, meeting and interacting with Australian native animals, and enjoying a burger and chips on the way home. 
• Our International Captains have been exercising their student voice in support of their cohort, showing great leadership and advocacy for programs and facilities.

These authentic language experiences are important for students’ communication skills, as well as their integration into Melbourne life.
