Library

Every now and again when looking through social media platforms, you come across something that just happens to resonate with you.  I saw this the other day, and while it is just simple maths at the end of the day, it shows just how doing one little thing for your children, really does add up and make a difference.  That is where the weekly library sessions are so marvellous at instilling a love of reading, as it is where each student has a chance to pick books, not only for the classroom, but also to read for pleasure.

We have doubled our space for “new” books to the library, which has been greeted with great enthusiasm.  We also have a theme each week, sometimes serious, but mostly not!!

This week’s theme was not as well received as I thought it might be…it was royalty, due to the King’s Birthday holiday on Monday. There must be a few republicans about!!

  • Tomorrow (Friday 14th) is the deadline for LOOP orders for Book Club Issue #4.
