Performing Arts - Senior

All of the dancers across middle and senior school have now completed their routines and are ready to be showcased! The students have worked very hard these past 8 weeks to not only learn the dances but be stage ready! I’ve been very proud of all the students and we are looking forward to performing in front of an audience at our Dance Performance Afternoon!

All dances for Grades 3/4 classes and 5/6 classes will be held on Wednesday, June 25th from 2:30pm. I have combined three classes across the composite grades in both middle and senior school.

Grades 3 / 4 B, D and F will kick off our dance show first. 

Followed by Grades 3 / 4 C, E and A. 

Grades 5 / 6 A, B and C will go next and 

Grades 5 / 6 D, E and F will round off our show. 

Each dance has a certain vibe / theme and in class, I have discussed with students various accessories or clothing options they may bring along to wear for their performance. They are to come to school as normal in their school uniform and bring along in a bag the extra dance attire. To wear accessories is completely optional and not a requirement at all. If your child / children do not wish to wear anything extra, they absolutely don’t have to and are totally fine to dance in their school uniform. Most, if not all accessories or clothing items we have brainstormed, children may already own or can borrow. Please don’t go out of your way to purchase anything as again, it’s just a fun addition to have if each individual chooses to do so.

Looking forward to seeing you all there in Week 10 at our Dance Performance Afternoon! I am manifesting a dry and sunny winter’s day so the performance can go ahead!

Every single class has had a Dancer of the Week for the past 4 weeks now, I’ve been so impressed with the students’ level of commitment and passion. Photos below of two superstars from this past Wednesday. Congratulations to all the students who have received one so far.
