2025 Reunions and Events

The Class of 1984

The Walsh Club luncheon

The first Walsh Club luncheon for 2025 was held in mid-May, with a good turnout from students who left Kilvington 50 or more years ago.

Many guests took the opportunity to visit the Kilvington Food Technology kitchens and hear from Year 8 students about their hands-on cooking experiences and the importance of learning about health and nutrition.

Our Year 12 School Co-Captains, Elijah and Maya, also dropped in to say hello. They shared stories about life at Kilvington today and what they plan to do after completing Year 12.

Before leaving, each guest received a delicious biscuit baked by Year 8 students, along with a Kilvington pen and a handcrafted pottery pen holder lovingly made by our ELC students.

The next Walsh Club gathering will take place on Friday 10 October in the Kilvington Sport Centre. All alumni from the Class of 1974 and earlier are warmly invited to attend.  You can RSVP for the event here.

40 and 45-Year Reunion

The 40 and 45-Year Reunion for the Classes of 1984 and 1979 was held in the Kilvington Sport Centre in the middle of Term 2. The room was filled with laughter and smiles as former classmates reconnected and shared stories with one another over drinks and nibbles.

A special thank you to Alison How (Class of 1985) for modelling her original school blazer and bringing a wonderful touch of nostalgia to the event. The uniform sparked many fond (and some not-so-fond) memories.

We are also very grateful to the many people who travelled from long distances to attend. Thank you for helping to make the reunion so special.

Alumni Choir at Fair and Open Day

On Saturday 22 March, our alumni choir, The KilvingTones, gave a wonderful performance in Dalton Hall as part of the 2025 Fair and Open Day. Under the expert direction of David Ashton-Smith OAM, the choir performed a diverse range of songs including 'Hallelujah', 'Down To The River To Pray', 'Crying In The Rain', 'When I Fall In Love', 'Seasons of Love' and even the Kilvington school song.

Thank you to all choir members for contributing to such a wonderful community day at Kilvington.

Kilvonians enjoy Jesus Christ Super Star

Many Kilvonians took advantage of a group discount to see Jesus Christ Super Star at the gorgeous Princess Theatre in May this year.

Following the performance, one of the guests reported, 'It was a fabulous show! The musical featured many big voices, and it was a very high energy production. A few of us kicked on at the Daughter in Arms bar after the show, which was a lovely way to extend the day.'
