From the Principal

Dear Families,

I’m delighted to share a significant milestone in our Junior School journey.

As of 7.00pm on Friday, 13 June, the Development Application (DA) for the Endeavour College Junior School and performing arts space was officially submitted to the City of Salisbury Council.

Including the relocation of Drama and Music into a wonderful 21st century learning space and a Wellness Centre for staff and students.

The third floor of the building will also become the home for sub school assemblies and Village chapel services in our retractable 500 seat auditorium.

Whilst this new project is exciting for new parents it is also very exciting for current students with the building set to open at the beginning of 2027.

This is a major step forward, and we now enter a formal review period. We anticipate a response within the next three months.

As soon as we receive correspondence from Council, we will communicate with you all directly.

This application is a critical piece in determining the feasibility and timeline of our project. If you are someone who holds our College in your prayers, we would be grateful if you kept this matter in your thoughts, your support is deeply valued as we take these next important steps.

In preparation for the growth of our College and to ensure our facilities can support this exciting expansion, we’ve also been working closely with traffic specialists. I’m pleased to inform you that Endeavour College has partnered with MFY, one of South Australia’s leading traffic engineering firms, to assess and future-proof our car parking facilities.

After months of analysis, consultation with the City of Salisbury, and input from independent traffic engineers, several modifications to the Eastern car park will be implemented shortly. These changes are designed with four key outcomes in mind:

  • Prevent traffic from queuing onto University Boulevard
  • Improve overall traffic flow within the car park
  • Reduce congestion during peak times
  • Maintain a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up zone for our students

What’s Changing?

The entry into the Eastern car park will now support two kiss-and-drop lanes:

  • Passenger-side drop-off (existing route)
  • Driver-side drop-off (via an adjacent new lane)

The northernmost lane will continue to be a dedicated parking zone and will not be used for drop-offs or as a through-lane.

We’re excited about what lies ahead and thank you for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate this next stage of growth together.

Mr Richard Baird
