Robinsons Road Closure
You may have noticed the signs currently displayed along Robinsons Road advising that the road will be closed Friday 22 August -Thursday 28 August.
The College has been informed the Robinsons Road and McClelland Drive roundabout and level crossing will be closed from 5.00 AM tomorrow, Friday 22 August to rectify a water leak beneath the train tracks.
Please refer to the traffic management map below and access the College from the Golf-Links Road end of Robinsons Road whilst the works are undertaken.
Traffic Controllers will ensure that school entrance remains unimpeded and will endeavour to assist all road users. Please allow for minor delays and plan your trip accordingly.
"Help! I'm a Parent" Information Evening
We are counting down the days to welcome Brett and Kate Ryan from Focus on the Family Australia for a parenting information session titled, 'Help! I'm a Parent' next Thursday 28 August from 7 PM to 8:45 PM in G-Block on South Campus.

This event is open to all parents and carers of children in the ELC through to Year 12. Brett and Kate will share insights on how parents and carers can give children greater responsibility, establish healthy boundaries, and build strong faith foundations.

Association Meeting
The Board extends an invitation for Association members to attend a gathering on Tuesday 2 September commencing at 7:30 PM, in the Library on South Campus. The Board will provide an update to members and deliver a brief finance update. Light supper, tea and coffee will be provided.
Primary Father's Day Stall
Primary students will be visiting the Father’s Day Stall on Wednesday 3 September. Please send $5.00 in an envelope with your child's name and class on the front to give to their teacher for safe-keeping. The correct money in each envelope is greatly appreciated as change is limited.
Book Week: Read With Me
Families are invited to a special 'Read with Me' event on Monday 1 September in the Library on South Campus from 5:30 PM to 7:15 PM. Students can wear comfy clothes or pyjamas. Bring along a travel cup with lid and recieve an extra marshmallow in your hot chocolate!
Gold coin entry at door will be donated to the Fiji Book Drive. Please note all children must be in the care and direct supervision of their parent or carer at all times.
Book Week: Character Parade
The most highly anticipated event of the year where all students dress up as their favourite book character will be held on Thursday 4 September from 9 AM in G-Block. Certificates awarded for the most creative costumes! Bring the book along as part of your costume. Parents and carers welcome to attend!
Whole School Worship Assembly
Members of the College community are warmly invited to the next Whole School Worship Service and Assembly on Tuesday 9 September from 9am to 10am in K-Block on South Campus.
Pantry Plus Food Drive
Bayside Christian College Year 12 VCE Vocational Major students will again be participating in Pantry Plus's Annual Food Drive. Pantry Plus is a non-profit community outreach program through Peninsula City Church oriented on helping get food to those in need living on the Mornington Peninsula.
From tomorrow through to Tuesday 2 September, students will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to this wonderful cause and ask for each student to bring in a specific donation. All donations can be dropped off in each classroom or at reception on both campus. Every contribution, big or small, will help make a real difference for families in need. Let's come together as a community to give back to our community!

Year 12 VM Class
R U OK? Wear Yellow Day
On Thursday 11 September, students and staff across the College will be participating in a special event to shine a light on Mental Health and the importance of looking out for each other. As part of this, we'll be supporting the R U OK? charity, which encourages people to make meaningful connections to help prevent suicide.
To join in, we're asking students to take part in our 'Wear Yellow Day' by wearing yellow clothes or accessories (as long as it fits within College uniform guidelines) and bringing a gold coin donation. Gold coin donations are to be given to the classroom/homeroom teacher in the morning for collection.

Notice of Intention to Withdraw from the College
Planning is well underway for the 2026 school year. If you are intending to withdraw a child/ren from the college at the end of this year please ensure you provide the necessary written full term’s notice before the start of Term 4.
This should be emailed to both the Registrar registrar@baysidecc.vic.edu.au and Principal, Mr Andrew Manning andrew.manning@baysidecc.vic.edu.au
A full term’s fees will be charged where the required full term’s notice is not provided. We recommend you provide notice even if your plans are not yet confirmed.

Lost Property
There are a number of non-uniform items that have been handed into Reception over the past Term. If you have misplaced an item, including glasses, a glasses case or gold bracelet, could you please visit Reception on South Campus.

2025 Volunteer Induction
To act as a parent volunteer or helper at camps, excursions, incursions, swimming and athletics carnivals, or in the classroom, you will need to complete the 2025 Volunteer Induction Form and upload a copy of your current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Jogging Club
Jogging Club has continued to grow in enthusiasm and energy this term, with students showing fantastic commitment to fitness and fun! Each week, keen participants meet on Monday lunchtimes on the school oval from 12:50 PM to 1:12 PM, as well as Friday mornings from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM, and we love seeing parents join in on Fridays too!
Mr Klan tracks the number of laps students complete each session, working steadily toward milestone certificates. We award certificates at assemblies for those who have reached 10 laps, 25 laps, 50 laps, 100 laps, 150 laps. These certificates represent each student’s persistence, discipline and a positive attitude.
Jogging Club is open to all primary levels and continues to be a great way to start the day or break up the week with some healthy movement and community spirit. New runners are always welcome!

Congratulations to Kai on his 100th game — a true testament to his incredible sportsmanship and unwavering team spirit. Kai consistently shines by embodying our school values of kindness, respect, and responsibility both on and off the field. His landmark game was nothing short of thrilling, with the team pulling off a nail-biting comeback in the final quarter to win by 4 points. Well done, Kai — you’re a great mate and a true champion!
