Volleyball

Maffra SC had a strong representation of teams at SSV Volleyball through all year levels. In the Wellington round, the Year 7 girls and boys, Year 8 girls and boys, Intermediate girls and senior boys all progressed onto the Regional Gippsland round, Maffra proving too strong for the local competition. In the Gippsland Championships the intermediate girls won all their games  and went through undefeated on the day showing great teamwork and support amongst the girls. The senior boys came runners up losing only one game on the day. The intermediate boys went down in three sets that showed a high skill level and talent. The Year 7 and 8 girls and boys played well and was a good experience that will help them develop for the future. The Intermediate girls went straight through to the State Championships, the senior boys and junior teams also were given invitations to attend.
