Library Statistics

For Term 2 we have listed some statistics that may be of interest:

A total of 605 books have been borrowed this term.

New book titles added to our library collection: 152

New copies of books added to the library collection: 205

Class with the most borrowing: 10C

Student who has borrowed the most books: Emily Nguyen (9C)

Can Emily Nguyen present to the library at the beginning of Term 3 for her gift.

Class of 10C will also be rewarded and a special thank you to Mr Hales for encouraging student borrowing

A reminder to all students to come prepared to Library/Literacy/English classes, by having your Library/Student ID card with you.

Students can borrow books for a three-week period. If books are needed longer, they can be re-borrowed, twice.  Books can be returned at any time of the day, so no excuses for having overdue books.

There have been many significant days in Term 2, such as Anzac Day and Sorry Day.  The Library often creates displays of books to commemorate these special days.  We have introduced new series books, such as this fantastic new series called Tales from the Pitch, which is about some of the world’s best soccer players, male and female.

Looking forward to Term 3.

In Term 3 the Library will be hosting Book Week. (August 19th-23rd)

We are already in the planning stages for this fun week.

Competitions, activities and great prizes will be up for grabs.  Make sure you are a part of it.

We will also have surprise Guest Speakers in August. Stay tuned!
