On Friday 21st June, Year 3 went to Currawong Bush Park to learn about the environment and participate in some fun sustainability-focused activities.
We learnt about different animals such as koalas, turtles, fruit bats, joeys and many more. We were able to hold some of these amazing animals. We also went on a bushwalk to learn about the fauna and flora of Currawong. We participated in a workshop about the different bins and what should go into each bin.
We hope everyone is using their FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) bin at home! Did you know… you can NOT put batteries in your household bins.
Thank you to Manningham Council for funding this fun day out.
