Thank You to Many!

Throughout this year so far there have been a wide variety of ways that people have served our community, and I know that this will not be an exhaustive list but I would like to recognise the following:

Teachers

For the time that they put into planning, communicating and working with students and parents.  Most recently they have written reports that will be available from the TASS parent portal later this term.

You as Parents

Thank you for the responses that I have received from those families who have responded to my email seeking feedback for our strategic plan moving forward.  The average time people are spending on the survey is 40 minutes.  I really appreciate the time you put into your answers, this data is very valuable as we move into bringing together our direction to and beyond 2030.  Please set aside some time for this important work as your voice is important to where we are headed as a community, your opportunity closes Sunday 16th June at midnight.

For the encouragement that we receive via emails and conversations.  A few small words go a long way.

For the volunteer sports managers and coaches - thank you for the time that you put into trainings, games and the administration behind the games.

For sharing your children with us!

Karen Verrall

Karen has been part of our school community since 2011.  Karen has worked across a variety of stages and with students from across the school in a gardening capacity.  We have been blessed by her service and we pray that her transition to her new gardening support role is free of weeds and full of beautiful blooming flowers and vegetables.  Karen will be finishing her time at Good Shepherd at the end of Term 2.

Donna Williams

At the end of this term we will be farewelling Miss Donna from our Curiosity team.  We thank her for the work that she has been doing in the afternoon program at ELC and pray every blessing as she moves back into a babies room at a different centre.

Administration Team

Thank you to Kristy who supported out staff and students in the front office over the last 12 months and to the work of Megan McWaters who has been there in her absence.

I thank the Administration team for the way that they connect with families and support staff and students so that we can learn together well.  Thanks Mrs Levy, Mrs Dunns, Mrs Barrett, Mr Silva, Mr Elliot, Ms Carbone, Mrs Johns and Mrs Reddy.  We welcome Ryan Woodcock as an additional support in the ITC department.

I know that there are many teams and people that have not been mentioned today ... but know that the work and support that you show to our community is appreciated.

Blessings.
