School Community
Instrument Donations Welcome!
A big thank you and shout out to Jenny Clarke, a local resident, who has kindly donated a drum kit to DVC. Jenny’s generous donation has been used to fit out our 3rd music practice room which is now able to host individual and small group/rock band rehearsals!
We are currently accepting donations of new or used instruments to the college to help rebuild our instrumental music and music performance programs. If you have an abandoned, lonely instrument lying around the house that needs a new home, please contact the college at diamond.valley.co@education.vic.gov.au.
We welcome any instrument in a playable condition!
World Challenge Fundraiser Day
"Last Friday, our dedicated group of World Challenge students took on a sweet initiative to fundraise for their upcoming volunteer trip to Cambodia. By selling hot chocolate and donut they rallied the school community to support their cause. Every bite and sip contributed to their journey of service and cultural immersion. Together, let's applaud their efforts and eagerly anticipate the impact they'll make halfway across the globe."
Cancer Council Week
During the week starting the 27th May, the DVC community participated in a range of activities to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Council. These activities included: a casual clothes day, trivia, staff v students dodgeball, Just Dance, a scavenger hunt and a hula hoop challenge. These events were really well attended by staff and students.
