Primary Music News

Music is a universal language that can be used to develop children's understanding and increase their knowledge in many areas.

Exploring the environment enriches children’s knowledge and sense of the world and provides a rich stimulus for music-making.

Primary music students have been creating instruments using natural objects and recycling materials. Year 4 made a rain stick which is a lovely rainy sounding instrument.

Songs are fantastic learning tools, and our younger students have been singing season songs and learning about the sounds and movements you might experience in seasons.

Due to the efforts and perseverance and many rehearsals in preparation, our Primary Choral and Year 5 and 6 composers gained another trophy performing at the Eisteddfod with our own composition of I Pray and also A Million Dreams.

Congratulations to all!
