Book Week Friday 23 August 2024

This year for Book Week we are excitedly planning for another fun-filled Better Buddies Book Week Grandparent's Day. More information will follow, but please keep Friday 23 August free as we will be having an exciting Book Week Parade, Grandparents will pop in for a quick visit and Kym Lardner, a well-known Australian children’s author and illustrator, will be presenting a fun story telling session to our students.

He will be selling his own books and signing them on the day if you are interested, but you are under no obligation to purchase books. We will also be having a Book Fair in the hall on this day, so parents, feel free to pop in during the day to start some early Christmas shopping. Every book purchased will raise points that our school can use to purchase new resources for the Library.

Book Fair Friday 23 August in Hall 8:35am to 3:30pm

More information about the day will be provided. In the meantime, please start thinking about a costume that can be related to a favourite book or dress in line with this year’s theme, ‘Reading is Magic.’
