PRIMARY TRI SPORTS

Thursday 30th May our year 4-6 students competed in the District Tri Sport competition in Camperdown.

The netballers had a great day and improved greatly throughout the day.

The soccer players had fantastic day with a very enthusiastic coach Mr Le.

The soccer team missed out on the win during the final in a shoot out.

AFL 9's

Hi I’m Stevie and I’m Lewi and today we are doing a report on AFL 9s and we are going to tell you things that happened. There were two teams.

Team 1

Firstly, we’re going to tell you about team 1. We versed Cobden twice. We also versed Timboon 1 and Timboon 2 and St Pats. There was no contact. There were three zones that were forward, midfield and back. We changed positions each goal. It was fun and we met new people.

Team 2

We saw friends from different schools. We think we won against nearly every school but there was no scoring. We did a kicking contest and Connor and Zoey made the furthest kick.  Zoey made the furthest kick for the girls so she went into the harder contest. Connor made it for the boys’ contest!

We all had an awesome day and had fun! Thank you to Mr Reichman for organising it for us.

INTERSCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

During school holidays Leo represented Mortlake college at the Victorian state interschools championship. Leo had really fantastic results for the school and represented Mortlake college very proudly.
