Third Teacher Learning Walls

Learning walls at St Edward's serve as dynamic spaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking among students. They visually represent Learning Intentions and Success Criteria, making the learning process more visible and engaging for all students.

Recently, teachers have engaged in a professional development work pack where instructional leaders have facilitated collaborative conversations amongst the staff around the importance of high quality third teacher learning walls. Look at the images below to see some of the learning spaces across our school:

Stage 3 Newcastle Permanent Mathematics Competition

We are excited to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Stage 3 students who participated in the Newcastle Permanent Mathematics Competition yesterday. This annual event provides a fantastic opportunity for students in Years 5 and 6 to showcase their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. Their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm for learning truly shone through as they tackled challenging problems and we will eagerly await the results later this term.

Recognition of Learning Awards

Please note there were no Assembly Awards or Living Well Learning Well Award presented in Week 1.  There will be a Primary Assembly held this Friday 2nd August.
