NAPLAN Achievers

Three of our Year 9 students have been recognised for ‘achieving the exceeding standard’ in a category in the NAPLAN testing in term 2. Congratulations to Ben, Keira and Batrisyia for your outstanding results in Reading and Numeracy!

Rowing

On Monday 24th June we attended the Nagambie Regatta Centre for an introduction to rowing.

We took out two quad sculls and rowed for an hour on the lake with Mr Thompson and Mr Laing coaching and supervising.

Thanks to the Lake Eildon Rowing Club for letting us use their equipment and thanks also to the Mitchell Shire Council for their support of this program.

Rowing is a unique sport that goes back hundreds of years and is great for kids to learn real teamwork on and off the water.

Year 9 Outdoor Ed

The Year 9 Outdoor Ed class travelled to the Cathedral Ranges to take part in Abseiling and Rock-Climbing. They all had a go conquering the climb and for some conquered their fear of heights.
