Principal's Report

Debbie Oliver

Our Seymour College community has settled back into term 3 and despite the chilly weather, have hit the ground running.  Our year 11 VM attended a VENTIA Taster day at Puckapunyal Military Base, while our Ag students had an informative day out at the Bendigo Sheep and Wool Show. Some of our year 12 students participated in an adaptations for survival guided program at the Melbourne Zoo, while others visited the Victoria Space Science Education Centre.

On Friday 19th July, our staff together with some colleagues from our network, completed our second module of the Berry Street  Professional Development, Relationships.  The day centred around positive relational classroom management strategies that promote on-task learning.

Our Senior School Information Night will be held on 7th August at 6 pm in the Arts Centre and will focus on pathways and subject selections within the Victorian Certificate of Education and the Vocational Major.
