Creating Our Collaborative Mural

Every Monday after school, the Art Club has been buzzing with creativity and excitement as we engage in joyous and artistic activities. Our current project is a collaborative artwork that will soon become a permanent display at our school.

We began our journey by discussing how we could create an art piece that reflects our school, culture, and community. After brainstorming and sharing ideas, we agreed on a central theme: Australian native animals and common activities that showcase the joy and neighbourly spirit of our multicultural city.

Once the theme was decided, we explored various media and materials for the artwork. Through rigorous discussions and research over several sessions, we concluded that creating a mural in the Arts block would be the perfect way to bring our vision to life.

With the guidance of our Art Therapist, Madeleine, who has encouraged us with fresh ideas and different art styles, and the support of our teacher in charge, Mr. Razaai, who has provided valuable tips and insights, we’ve been able to bring all our ideas and sketches together to design this mural.

We are excited to showcase the completed mural at the upcoming The Hill Art and Tech Show. After the event, it will be proudly displayed in the Arts block as a permanent reminder of our collaborative effort and the vibrant community spirit it represents.
