Our St Joseph's Netball players recently participated in the ALL Age Netball Carnival.
Well done girls!
Basketball will start on Thursday 15th February (Week 4). A draw will be sent out to players once we receive it.
Our Term 3 sport will be tennis. Over the term students will learn all the ins and out of this great sport from our local coach Mitch Power the head coach of Perform with Power Tennis Academy. Thank you Mitch for all your time and effort.
St Joseph's was represented by 33 enthusiastic students at the Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival held last Friday in Tamworth. We had some great results throughout the day from our amazing students who represented our school so well on the day.
The following athletes are to be commended for their outstanding results on the day:
Cameron Faint - First place in the Junior Boys High Jump
Boston Vince - Second Place in the Senior Boys High Jump
Joseph Gordon - Second Place in the Senior Boys Long Jump
Hamish Crittenden
First Place in the 12 Years Boys 100 metres
Third Place in the Senior Boys 800 metres & 1500 metres
First Place in the Senior Boys 200 metres - In this event Hamish set a New Armidale Diocesan Record

Second Place in the Senior Boys Relay
Zavier Beattie
First Place in the Junior Boys Multi-Class 100 metres, 200 metres and Long Jump

At the conclusion of the day Hamish was awarded joint Senior Boy Champion which is an outstanding achievement. Well done Hamish!
Congratulations to Zavier Beattie, Cameron Faint, Boston Vince, Joseph Gordon, Noah Craig, Darcy Wood and Hamish Crittenden who have qualified to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Trials in Newcastle later this term.

Congratulations to Ryan Lee who placed 11th out of 104 in the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) World Final Prelims. The top 20% went on to compete in the finals where Ryan came through stronger, placing 6th in the world.
Ryan also competed in 4 other events and placed in the top 10 in 4 out of 5 events.
Well done Ryan!
