MMD Day and mid-term break certainly made for an increased level of hype in the Cebula community with the boys working well in their homeroom groups to get their stalls organised amidst the excitement of a 4-day break.

Week by week the new boarding house gets closer to completion. Window frames are now in and lots of paving and retaining wall work is happening as we speak. It's great seeing the boys take an interest each day in all the new things that are taking place on the construction site. 

We have been visiting several regional and rural areas recently to share more about Mazenod Boarding with interested families as well as catching up with our current boarding community in each location. Last week I visited Karratha and Mr Brett Scarey, our Marketing Manager, visited Mingenew. Prior to these visits Mr Harvey and I were in Tom Price and Paraburdoo. The Dowerin Field Days will be our next visit on 28 and 29 August. It’s been great being able to meet families on their home turf and I’ve really enjoyed seeing a bit more of our state and where our boys hail from.
