Hands On Learning

We had a very busy day on Tuesday, preparing, cooking and serving delicious cheese toasties to all students and staff, for our Toastie Tuesday fundraiser. 

Thank you to everyone who enjoyed a toasty. With your help we raised approximately $650 which will be shared between the HOL program and the Zoo Keeper program. 

The teamwork and initiative displayed by our HOL team was exceptional. Kim, the regional support manager of HOL, joined us for the day and was very impressed with the progress of our HOL program at WEPS. 

After packing up our toasty event, we headed over to the garden to unpack a delivery from Plantfulness, a charitable organisation who support HOL. The donation has boosted our garden tools and equipment which will make garden tasks much easier. 

We hope the staff enjoyed their soup and array of slices which we prepared, on Wednesday, for their PD day on Thursday.
