WORSHIP AT ST PAUL

Everyone is welcome to attend the worship service held in the church each Sunday at 9.30am.  Tea and coffee are offered for an opportunity for fellowship after the service each week.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Church season called Lent, a time of the year when we give particular focus to prayer.  Traditionally, this is a day for Christians to remember that we are sinners and that we need a Saviour (Jesus) so that we can be put right with God and ultimately live with him forever in Heaven.

For centuries, Christians have received ashes on their head in the shape of a cross, as a reminder of mortality and a sign of sorrow for sin.  As a part of the rite, people say sorry to God for all the sins (things that are against God or hurt other people) they have committed and ask God for his forgiveness.

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Held every Tuesday during term time from 9-10.30am in the Hall, Playgroup @ St Paul is for children aged 0-5 and a parent/caregiver. School families are more than welcome to come across after you have done the school drop-off.  We won’t be completely set up, but you are still welcome to hang out with us.

Cost is $2 per family, and your first visit is free.

Come and check out the play space, make a craft, play with playdough, explore the sensory play space, and join in with story and song time.

No bookings are required, just bring a drink bottle and healthy snack for you and your child and join in the fun.

This week we made funny faces with pancakes for Shrove Tuesday.

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

This week, the Bible verses tell us how the Word of God is the source of life and how we can’t live without it. While bread (and other food) is essential for physical sustenance, God’s Word in the Bible nourishes the soul. It provides truth, wisdom, and guidance vital for our spiritual well-being.
