Wellio Program

The Wellio Program forms part of our SEL program at St Stephen's Catholic College. Our Year 7 to 9 students do Wellio in SEL, and our Year 10 to 12 students do Wellio from time to time in year-level assemblies.
Wellio helps students proactively improve their mental well-being using research-backed habits and techniques. Their program supports students in improving their sleep, managing social media use, building healthy relationships, improving physical well-being, and reducing anxiety.
Students will complete Wellio lessons on various topics throughout the year.
Additionally, Wellio will deliver a webinar each term to parents. These webinars are developed by Wellio’s in-house team of educators and psychologists to give parents strategies to support their children’s well-being. The upcoming webinar, titled "Parenting Through the Under-16 Social Media Age Restrictions," will be held on Tuesday, 24 March at 6:30 pm (AEDT).
What to expect during the webinar
Explore strategies that help you to:
Make Sense of What’s Happening Now: What social media use looks like for kids under the restrictions, and what parents are seeing at home.
Manage Access Without Constant Battles: How to respond to pressure and pushback without turning it into daily conflict.
Keeping Safety in Focus: How to notice when something online isn’t right and keep conversations open.
If you can't make this session live, we suggest that you register for it, and Wellio will send you the recording and any relevant supporting resources after the session.
You may also view an earlier webinar, 'Owning Your Role As A Parent', by visiting this website, and a parent toolkit resource is available to download here.
