Term 1 Week 5

We are officially half way through Term 1. Congratulations everyone and keep the good times rolling. It's been another fun filled week here at Fitzroy, one of the highlights being the arrival of our big skip in preparation for our clean out working bee tomorrow. Other highlights of the week included our intermediate debating team heading to Haileybury for their first debate where we lost to Melbourne Grammar by 1 point (on a cost per point basis though we absolutely smashed them) and our great Year 7 parent breakfast that took place in the library this morning. Thanks to all the parents that came along to say hello and check out the great photos from the Year 7 camp. We also had school photo day on Wednesday and Thursday (at Wurun) so keep an eye for the photos when they get processed.

Looking ahead to next week:

Saturday and Sunday: Big Clean Out Working Bee - Thank you to the parents and friends who have signed up to help out. We are 10-1 on Saturday and 11-1 on Sunday. If you haven't signed up but want to drop in and help please feel free.

Tuesday 3rd - March Market Collections: Please drop off your high quality pre-loved items at the junior school campus on Tuesday morning. If you are keen to be involved in the market by helping out please check out the information posted on Compass.

Tuesday 3rd - Division Swimming (rescheduled): The division swimmers didn't get the chance to go out last week due to poor weather, here's hoping the weather is better on Tuesday.
