Please note that as I am absent Week 4 Wednesday for PL, the Foundation social skills group will move to Friday 11:00-11:25. 

The Year 1 group will remain on Thursday 11:00-11:25.

FYI - Unwelcome visitors - polistes chinensis

The followng information is in today's Le Journal. Please take the time to remind your students to not poke at wasps or bees or any insents that may sting!

This week a nest of these wasps was removed from the school grounds. This species of wasp has only been in Australia over the past five years and prefer to nest in spaces such as the tubular metal fencing that surrounds the school. 

The nest of wasps became disturbed when sticks were poked into the fence, disturbing their home. A pest control company removed the nest and we hope that there are no more of their friends on our grounds.

We will remind students not to poke sticks into holes and tubes/pipes - please take the time to do so at home as the sting can be very painful.
