From the Principal's Desk

It has been another positive and productive fortnight across both campuses, with classrooms full of engaged learning and students continuing to build confidence in their routines. It is always a pleasure visiting classes and seeing the pride students take in their work and the strong relationships developing between staff and learners.
Attitudes to School Survey – Celebrating Growth
We recently reviewed our 2024 to 2025 Attitudes to School Survey data and are incredibly proud of the positive growth across many areas. In particular, we saw strong improvements in:
- Student Voice and Agency
- Sense of Inclusion
- Sense of Connectedness
- Teacher Concern for Students.
Our data also shows continued strength in Effective Classroom Behaviour and High Expectations for Success.
These results reflect the everyday work happening in classrooms and playgrounds – students feeling safe, heard and supported, and staff building meaningful relationships with learners. We thank our students for sharing their voices through the survey and our staff for the dedication that underpins these improvements.
Student Support Group Meetings
Thank you to all parents and carers who attended our Student Support Group meetings last week. These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to discuss the great learning taking place, review adjustments and set goals for the semester ahead.
If you have not yet been able to schedule this important meeting, please contact your campus office.
School Council – Parent Representatives Needed
We are still seeking parent representatives for our School Council. School Council plays an important role in shaping the direction of our school, contributing to policies, priorities and community voice.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact Francine Grant at the Junior Campus office.
Thank you to our students, families and staff for the continued partnership and support that helps our school community thrive. We look forward to the exciting weeks ahead and continuing to celebrate the progress and achievements of every learner.
