Book Week bonanza!
What a fabulous week we have had, celebrating Book Week, along with a Book Fair, featuring titles from Paper Bark Merchants. We saw costumes from fairy tales, modern adventures and children's picture book favourites at our Book Week parade this morning, and had a VERY hard time judging the best Book Week door in our Primary School.
A special mention to Year Six N who created beautiful, thought provoking quotes about the magic of reading (this year's theme). Our runners-up were Year Four L with their rambunctious, piratical display, and congratulations to Year One for their clever and striking display based on the picture book, Bower Bird Blues.
A big thank you to our Head of Library Services, Ms Elinor Couper, and our Library Technician, Mrs Michelle Hassell for making our Library the centre of fun and learning this week.
Student Leadership
We are commencing the process for selecting our Student Leadership Team from our current Year Eleven students to lead us later this year and into 2025. I have been so impressed with the quality of their nominations and we will be further developing their many strengths and talents next week at the Aspiring Leaders' Workshop. I look forward to sharing further news about this process with you in coming weeks.

Update on Road Works on Ulster Road
Ulster Road Detour
Effective 28 August 2024
Due to roadworks on Ulster Road Northbound between Martin Road and Bardley Road, the 715 school bus will make the following detour in the AM Only, North Road, L Ulster Road to RAAF Village Stop, R David Street, L Park Road, R Angove Road, L Hardie Road, L Ulster Road to St Joseph's College Carpark, R Ulster Road/Lower King Road to resume normal route.
PM services will run as per the usual route.
