Dhirrabuu (Deadly) learning in Cultural Immersion Groups
At St Edward's Primary School we provide our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with an opportunity to connect with country, culture and language through Cultural Immersion Groups supported by our AEAs. Below, we will be sharing images and a small blurb about activities that are completed in each grades group.
Grade | Lesson Activity |

Father's Day Breakfast/Celebrations
Thank you to all our visitors who joined us last Friday for our annual Father's Day celebrations. The weather was superb and the sense of community was fantastic! It appeared that many fathers and grandfathers enjoyed the games, just as much as the children!
A special shout out and thank you to our fabulous P & F Committee and their band of helpers for their assistance with coordinating the Father's Day Gift Stall. A huge thank you also to our amazing staff and parent helpers who volunteered their time before school to assist at the Father's Day BBQ breakfast.
Student Learning Progress Meetings
Thank you to those parents and carers who have already booked a Learning Conversation appointment with their child's teacher in Weeks 9 or 10. Please note bookings will close on the Compass app tomorrow afternoon, Friday 6th September. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to come into school and hear about the growth and development of your child's learning here at St Edward's.
Compass
If your child has an appointment and will be arriving at school late, please do not enter this on Compass. Children will need to be signed in at school on the kiosk located in the school reception area. Only enter absent notes if your child will be absent for the day or longer.
Term 3 School Fees
Thank you for your continued support of St Edward's School. Term 3 fees have been issued via email. The sender will be noreply.schoolfeestatement (please check your junk/spam folders). These school fees were due by Friday 30th August. Compass Pay or BPAY is our preferred method of payment for school fees (details are on your statement). BPAY can be set up as a recurring payment with regular amount to cover annual school fees. If you would like a weekly/fortnightly/monthly amount worked out for you or have any further questions, please email Hannah - setadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au
School Uniform Change
Due to the current warm weather, students are allowed to come to school in either their full summer or full winter uniform for the remainder of this term, but NOT a mixture of both. Thank you for your support in ensuring that our students are wearing their uniforms correctly. All students will need to be in their full summer uniform by the beginning of Term 4.
