Visual Arts

Foundation students have learnt to sew a running stitch to create these colourful wall-hangings.

Year 1 and 2 students have been learning about artist Vincent Van Gogh. They took inspiration from his sunflower paintings to create sunflower prints of their own.

Year 6 students have been completing their Modroc plater masks. We have seen some very original and creative designs this year.

Performing Arts

Year 3 and 4 students have been learning about music and dance from different countries and cultures. This week, they have spent time listening to songs from South America, learning some dances and studying their instruments. Here is a photo of some Zamponas, an instrument from the Andes Mountains, made by students in 4W.
