The winning year level is Year 2 having read 1210 books led by 2F. Congratulations to marvellous Miss Dobson and the students of 5S the winning grade reading 629 books!

Thank you to all students and families for your participation and supporting this year’s challenge! We hope that this has been a journey of discovery for each and every one of you and has only strengthened your passion for reading and joy of books.

Challenge completion certificates will be issued and distributed during Term 4.  Our Library Captains will be making a special presentation at the next whole school assembly on 20th September.

The Great Book Swap

Yesterday’s Great Book Swap event was such a wonderful success; the excitement and enthusiasm displayed by our students whilst browsing the selection of donated books was really inspiring!  A really huge thank you for every single book donated which resulted in over $300 being exchanged for books!  We are very proud to be able to send in Karoo’s proceeds to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation next week in support of their wonderful cause.
