Troy's learning news
PAT testing
Starting next week students in years three to six will participate in Progressive Achievement Testing in Reading and Mathematics. Testing occurs over one or two sessions with students completing various questions related to their learning. All students will complete testing online for up to forty minutes.
The aim of the testing is to see where students' understanding in both those areas currently is. Unlike Naplan, we can access student data as soon as the submit button is clicked, allowing us to identify individual, whole class, or year-level needs.
This testing allows teachers to make adjustments for working with our students in the final term to prepare them for the following year.
If you would like any further information, please get in touch with me or your classroom teacher once your child has completed their testing.
