On Thursday 22nd August the Wyndham Division Athletics Carnival was held at Victoria University Athletics Track, where students who qualified at our school athletics carnival earlier this year, represented our College.

All Wyndham schools in the area come to compete at the event and it was a great day filled with a lot of success across the board.

Ashley Roberts (Year 12) 1st Place- Javelin 

Ashley Roberts (Year 12) 2nd Place- Shot Put

Mahmoud Asarat (Year 12) 2nd Place- 100m

Raquel Grey (Year 10) 3rd Place- 100m

Petelo Taukelata (Year 11) 1st Place- 100m

Petelo Taukelata (Year 11) 1st Place- 200m

Petelo Taukelata (Year 11) 2nd Place- 400m

Tiah Olcorn (Year 11) 2nd Place- 800m

Eh Nay Tha (Year 12) 3rd Place- Triple Jump

Hayden Spall (Year 11) 3rd Place- High Jump

Tamika Coggan (Year 12) 1st Place- High Jump

Ishara Maganya (Year 7) 2nd Place- 200m

Annabella Mesiti (Year 9) 2nd Place- 200m

Annabella Mesiti (Year 9) 3rd Place- 400m

Annabella Mesiti (Year 9) 3rd Place- Triple Jump

Michel Nimi (Year 10) 1st Place- Triple Jump

Michel Nimi (Year 10) 2nd Place- 200m

We are really proud of all of their efforts. Students who have come first in their events have now qualified for the Western Metropolitan Region team which heads out on October 9th at Moonee Valley Athletics Centre. 

Thank you to Mr Croce for supervising the students and ensuring the day ran smoothly. Thanks also goes to Niamh Byrne, Alkira Clark Brown and Silver Hecker for being amazing student helpers on the day.
