  • Wednesday, September 4th at 7pm 
  • Thursday, September 5th at 7pm 

Location: Darebin Arts Centre Theatre, 401 Bell St, (corner Bell St & St Georges Rd), Preston VIC 3072

Seating: Allocated

Approximate running time: 2 hours (this is inclusive of an interval)

Content warnings: Smoke and haze, dynamic soundtrack or loud noises

Pricing: $26.50 per ticket

Age limit: 12 years and over. This means that tickets are for sale only to people who are 12 years and over. 

 

Ticketing

  • Last chance to buy tickets! There are around 20 tickets left per show. 
  • The 2 ticket per family limit has been lifted. You can buy as many tickets as you like. 
  • Tickets purchased in different transactions will be seated in different areas of the auditorium due to allocated seating.

Dress Rehearsals

  • Dates: Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th of September.
  • All students will go with their teacher to the Darebin Arts Centre to practice their musical item. 
  • Each class will have one rehearsal session. 
  • Please complete permission on Sentral with $5 payment before Tuesday 3rd of September. 
  • Your child should come to school as usual and will be picked up from school at 3.30pm as usual.  3/4AB, please make sure you arrive before 9.00am to ensure the bus can leave on time. 
  • If your child is a primary or a secondary character, we kindly request you to drop them off at Darebin Arts Centre on Tuesday 3rd September at 8:50am. 
  • Please refer to the table below to see when your child will be attending.

 

Arrival on Concert Nights (4th and 5th of September)

  • Students in Act 1 are to arrive at the Darebin Arts Centre by 6:00pm.
  • Students in Act 2 should arrive by 6:20pm. 
  • Main and secondary characters are also expected to arrive at 6:00pm.
  • Please refer to the timetable below to check which Act your children are in. 

 

What to bring on the night

  • Students are asked to bring a small bag with a bottle of water and a snack on the night.
  • Students will be able to watch a live stream of the concert and teachers will have a variety of activities to entertain students between their items. 
  • No electronic devices are to be brought to the venue. 

 

Costumes

  • Sentral notices have been sent from your child's classroom teacher with reminders about what costumes are needed and what students will wear to the venue on the night.  
  • If you have any questions about costumes, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher. 

 

Please note:

  • Due to late nights, an extended soft start until 10am will be provided the days after the concert. Programs throughout the day will be adjusted accordingly. 
  • All students are expected to attend both nights, unless otherwise communicated to you directly by your classroom teacher or Sonya. 
  • All students are to be picked up the venue after the concert has finished, no sooner.
