Principal Post

Dear Families,

I hope that we are all enjoying our week!

With Year 1-6 swimming and preparations for our Indonesian Day, Art Show and Fathers Day stall/ breakfast, Book Week, the school continues  to be a hive of activity!  Students continue to be immersed in their  learning  in Literacy Numeracy and within Religious Education.

Our various 'clubs' held at lunch or recess are  going well and assist our students to grow their interests and  develop their friendships.

Swimming Program Yr 1-6

Just a reminder that this Friday is our Water Safety Day. This means all students will need to bring an old t -shirt and pair of shorts that can be worn in the pool. They  wear their bathers as normal to school.  This is the last day of the program.

Foundation students will begin their intensive swimming program later in November.

Indonesian Day

Excitement is certainly brewing as we prepare for this years Indonesian Day next Wednesday 28th August. Pak Kris and a team of senior students have prepared a stellar range of activities to promote the Indonesian Language and Culture!

All students are asked to wear Indonesian Colours - red, white and black! Please also confirm via Operoo if you are attending the Indonesian parents' morning tea.

We thank Indofood for their kind donations for our Morning Tea.

VPASS

At-the front desk we have now installed a new VPASS ipad. This device is used for families to sign in and out if they come late or need to leave early. This ensures it updates our roll and lets the teacher know exactly what time your child arrived or leaves school.

Please use this device for late arrivals and early departures.

This week Shae won an award for Gratitude.  She won this for being thankful to others! Shae shows her gratitude by  remembering to say thank you with a smile! Congratulations.

It is important to acknowledge positive behaviour as soon as it is demonstrated.

Our Core Values:

I am Responsible when I...

I am Respectful when I.....

I am Resilient when I....
