VOCABULARY

Mass: Mass is the amount that an object weighs. It is measured in grams, kilograms, or tons.

 

Compare: to look at two things and see how they are similar and different. 


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child find some different objects around the house and compare their weight by holding each item in their hand. Get them to record which item is heavier/lighter. They can then compare the weights and then put the objects in order from lightest to heaviest.
