Parent Association News

A focus upon driving continuous school improvement

Parent Association

Welcome back to another exciting term at our school! As we dive into Term 3, we want to remind you that it’s never too late to join the Parents Association (PA). We are always looking for enthusiastic new members to bring fresh ideas and energy to our group. No experience is needed—just a current Working with Children’s Check and a willingness to contribute to our community.

Join the PA

Joining the PA is a great way to get involved and make a difference in our school. We have many exciting fundraising opportunities on the horizon and would love to have you on board. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, every bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

Father's Day Stall

As always, excitement was high at the Father's Day stall. Students love choosing gifts for the special people in their lives. You might have been lucky enough to receive a jar of honey from our local J&G Bees. Jeff generously donated 100 jars for our Father's Day stall. Next time you walk down Forest Park Road, be sure to say hi and check out his bee hives! A big thanks to the following volunteers for running the stall: Bec, Dale, Emma, Jayne, Jemma, Jess, Kerryn, Megan, Paula and Sarah.

Disco Bingo

What a fun night we had raising thousands of dollars for our school. This term we have raised approximately $9000. Dolly Disco turned up the entertainment with 3 rounds of bingo, dance offs and best dressed competitions. An abundance of prizes were awarded, gold coins thrown, and Killik cocktails tasted.

Please see the list of local businesses that donated products and vouchers for the night, and support them in the future where you can.
