Inquiry

This term in Inquiry, the students have explored "My Country". This geography topic investigates Australia and its neighbouring countries. The students have looked at the states and territories of Australia; learning capital cities, landmarks and other characteristics. Students then studied neighbouring countries such as Indonesia and New Zealand, and then stretched further to explore Africa and South America. Students compared the cultures, climates and vegetation of these countries to Australia. Lastly, the students explored the Indigenous map of Australia; noticing the many locations marked and learning about the connection to land.

Thank you to our wonderful students and families for an action-packed term.
