School bus time changes

SCHOOL SPECIAL BUS SERVICE CHANGES IN GREATER GEELONG REGION 

From Monday 2 December, small timetable changes will be introduced for six school specials in Geelong and surrounding areas. These timetable changes are part of broader train timetable changes for the Geelong and Warrnambool lines. 

The following services will experience minor timetable changes: 

• Route N34 Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College to Armstrong Creek, Connewarre & Barwon heads 

• Route S3 Torquay, Mt Duneed & Grovedale to Grovedale College and Belmont High School 

• Route C14 Geelong High School to Donnybrook Rd 

• Route C1 Drysdale & Leopold to Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College 

• Route N5 Queenscliff & Leopold to Matthew Flinders Girls Secondary College, Sacred Heart College and Geelong College 

• Route S21 Belmont to Oberon High School via Surf Coast Hwy & Warralily Blvd 

What are the minor timetable changes? 

The timetables of the affected services will be changed to arrive and depart 2 to 5 minutes later that the current timetable. All services are still aligned with school bell times along the route. Please refer to the new timetable and map (attached) for specific changes. 

When will the service begin? 

The new network will begin on Monday 2 December 2024. 

Are the services ticketed? 

Myki fares will be payable on these school services. Students will need a myki card loaded with a student pass or topped up with myki money before they travel. For more details, visit the PTV website or phone the public transport call centre on 1800 800 007 and select Option 1.
