Principals' Message

Dear St Joseph’s Primary Community,

It is hard to believe how fast the end of the year is approaching! The next two weeks will be jam-packed with learning and experiences for our students. Several events are approaching, like our Presentation Day, Graduation Mass and Graduation Dinner. We also have our whole school movie day and pool party. Events that need permission will be sent out via Compass, so watch this space!

Year 5 Leadership Speeches

On Tuesday our Year 5 students presented speeches to our school community outlining their leadership capabilities for St Joseph's in 2025. This event provides a chance for students to think about what makes a good leader not just in words but through actions as well, and how they can represent St Joseph's in a dignified manner at all times.

We wish our Year 5 students all the best in their leadership aspirations for 2025. These positions will be announced at our Presentation day next week. 

The leadership structure for 2025 will be; 2 Captains, 1 Vice Captain and 3 House Captains. 

Semester 2 Reporting

At present, the educators are engaged in the preparation of student reports for Semester Two. Parents will have the opportunity to access these reports through the parent portal during Friday Week 9.  You will also receive a printed report on Friday Week 9.

Annual Satisfaction Surveys

Thank you to all of the parents who engaged with our Annual Satisfaction Survey this year. The data has been really positive, and the feedback that we have received will help us shape our 2025 Annual Improvement Plan. Further information about our AIP will be released in the final weeks of term 4.

2024 Presentation Day

Our 2024 Presentation Day will be held at the Barraba Golf Club on Tuesday Week 9 (December 10th). It will commence at 12pm and we anticipate that it will conclude around 2pm. We look forward to seeing you all as we come together to celebrate our young people's achievements.
