CPS COLOUR RUN - Volunteers needed & fundraising update

 

The countdown is on to our first-ever CPS Colour Run on Friday 22nd November! With less than two weeks to go, we wanted to give an update on fundraising & call for more parent volunteers. 

 

Volunteers needed!

The PFA is looking for more volunteers to assist with running the event between 12-4:30pm on Friday 22nd November.  Many hands make light work and we are seeking parent volunteers for a range of jobs from handing out sunglasses and throwing the colour powder, through to simply standing along the side of the course to direct the kids. 

 

Keep in mind parents will not be able to attend/watch the event unless they have pre-registered to volunteer. 

 

In addition to general volunteers, we are also seeking:

  • First-aid volunteers (must have appropriate qualifications)
  • Photographers

Fundraising update

Great to see the sponsorship donations rolling in via Qkr - keep them coming! Remember, all funds raised will go towards further improvements to the school’s outdoor spaces, and the class that raises the most funds will get a special lunch put on by the PFA!

Swimming caps - orders now open in Qkr!

Does your child need a swimming cap for the school swimming program at GESAC in December? We can save you the trip to Rebel or Kmart, and offer you a CPS branded swim cap, delivered to school - brand new stock has just arrived!

 

Caps are available in each of the 4 house colours. Older students can also wear theirs for the Grade 3 - 6 House Swimming Carnival held in Term 1 next year.

 

One size fits all. $8 each. Order now via Qkr! 

  • Orders placed by Wednesday 27th November will be sent home with students in Grades 3 - 6 on Thursday 28th November, in time for the swimming program to begin on Monday 2nd December
  • Orders placed by Thursday 5th December will be sent home with students in Grades Prep - 2 on Friday 6th December, in time for the swimming program to begin on Monday 9th December
