Lunch Clubs!

Another amazing couple of weeks of creations for our marvellous masters of Lego. Our main creations were focused on making ''Fantastic Beasts'' and they were fantastic indeed! Mr MT and his regular attendees at the Chess Club continued to meet and play with focus and concentration over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully, the good weather continues so that the chess players can continue to enjoy soaking up some Vitamin D, whilst working out their next moves! Turbo has also been making the most of the sunshine over the last few days. Whilst Mrs Stiegler cleaned his tank, Turbo was able to have a stretch and move around the the office, seeking out the sun. $2 Tuesday looked a little different this week. Our Wellbeing Leaders ran a smooth operation at the sausage sizzle for $2 Tuesday this week with the help of Mr Todd; they had a lot of very satisfied customers. We had a fun little ''pop-up'' club this week with Mrs James and Luca offering free advice - apparently, there were a lot of questions about whether a puppy would make a good Christmas gift this year! Despite the warmer weather at the end of Week 7, we still had a few children keen to learn to skip - perhaps a skipping rope could be a possible Christmas gift, rather than a new puppy! LOL club remains a firm favourite as a lunch club. If you choose to do a tidy up after the Christmas holidays and would like to donate any LOLs to school, we would welcome them all!

Happy Families

A couple of really insightful articles from Happy Families this fortnight.  ''Soft Eyes'' challenges how our body language and signs sends messages, whilst acknowledging how challenging parenting can be. The second article, ''How to Really Play With Your Kids'', is an interesting read about how we can engage in authentic play with our children - even the big kids! We would really appreciate feedback about the articles we share each fortnight. This will determine if we continue to subscribe in 2025. Please email your thoughts to: admin@safranksth.catholic.edu.au

Term 4 is your term! We would love to have you join usut at St A's - would you like to help out?

Term 4 is historically busy. We always appreciate an extra pair of hands to help across the school for a variety of reasons. Next term we still have Cooking & Gardening sessions, a number of sporting events and excursions planned. Additionally, we will need all hands on deck to assist with the lead-up to our School Fair. If you are keen to join in, please make sure you have a current Working With Children Check
