Get Active Kids Voucher Information

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms and equipment.

Eligible families can apply for vouchers of up to $200 each per child, per round.

Important dates

  • Reimbursement expenditure dates: from 1 July 2024 until time of submitting an application.
  • Vouchers expiry date: Tuesday 29 April 2025
  • Portal open for Activity Providers to redeem vouchers: Wednesday 9 October 2024 to Tuesday 20 May 2025.

To be eligible, kids need to be aged 0-18, a Victorian resident, named on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and named on a valid Medicare Card at the time of application.

The program also provides a special consideration stream to support children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students aged 0-18 years at the time of application.

Clubs, associations and organisations can register anytime to be a Get Active Kids Voucher Activity Provider to be able to redeem the voucher from the Victorian Government. 

Clubs and sporting organisations must be affiliated with a recognised State Sporting Association or equivalent governing body to be eligible.

North Ringwood Playgroup is looking for a new part-time facilitator/coordinator to join our team in Term 1 2025. Your role will be to set up, run and pack up 2 playgroup sessions and oversee the general planning and coordination of all playgroup sessions (e.g. planning activities, checking equipment and supplies, liaising with parents and committee). This role is suited to a friendly and energetic parent as playgroup runs in school terms only. 

 

Hourly rate: $28 per hour | Hours: 2 x 4hrs/week playgroup facilitation on Mondays and Friday mornings (different days of the week may be negotiated) plus 2hrs/week planning during school terms only. 8-10hrs/term general management and cleaning | Location: North Ringwood | Requirements: must have WWCC, level 2 first aid certificate, be familiar with Child Safe Standards and have experience with children 0-5 years. | contact: president@northringwoodplaygroup.com.au
