Foundation (Prep) 2025

Our School Transition Program for the children enrolled to commence in Foundation (Prep) at EHPS in 2025 has concluded, with an orientation last Friday. 

 

We have loved getting to know the children and look forward to their start at primary school next year. The calendar for the start of the 2025 school year for our Foundation (Prep) students is as follows:

  • Tuesday 28 January – Term 1 commences. This day is a student-free day in all Victorian government schools. School Office opens. This day is a student-free day in all Victorian government schools. School Office opens.
  • Wednesday 29 January – Student-free day for all EHPS students. Care provided by OSHC from 7am to 6pm; booking essential.
  • Wednesday 29 January (from 11.30am) to Wednesday 5 February (to 11am) – Foundation (Prep) students attend their compulsory one hour school entry assessment interview with their teacher at school; date and time to be advised in school start letter to be sent by post.
  • Thursday 6 February – Foundation (Prep) students first day at school. Children have an allocated start time between 9am and 10am, specified in your school start letter. Finish early at 1.30pm. After School Care for Foundation (Prep) students from 1.30pm if required; booking essential.
  • Friday 7 February – Foundation (Prep) students attend school from 8.50am to 2.30pm. After School Care for Foundation (Prep) students from 2.30pm if required; booking essential. 
  • Monday 10 February onwards – Foundation (Prep) students commence fulltime from 8.50am to 3.30pm.
