EHPS is proud to announce that Abheeshta C, a Year 3 student, won the 2024 NAILA competition for Early Primary category that was held in October this year. The National Australia Indonesia Language Awards (NAILA) is an annual speech competition that rewards and fosters the development of Indonesian language learning in Australia at all levels. This prestigious event gathered talented speakers from across the country, and Abheeshta impressed the judges with his outstanding presentation and language skills on the topic innovation and technology.
In recognition of this achievement, Abheeshta attended a formal award ceremony on Saturday 7 December at the Australian National University, Canberra, where he and the other awardees from different categories received their well-deserved accolades. The event was a celebration of hard work, dedication, and the power of effective communication. We are incredibly proud of Abheeshta for his commitment to excellence and for representing our school with such distinction. At the same event, Bu Gladys, our Indonesian teacher, received her AII Language Teaching Award alongside Abheeshta, making the evening even more special.
Congratulations to Abheeshta for this remarkable accomplishment, and well done to all the other students who also participated in this year’s NAILA Indonesian speech competition. We look forward to seeing more of their success in the future.
Terima kasih!
Bu Gladys
