MorphologyThis week, students have been learning about the prefix -over and -trans and its meaning. Students have been analysing words with this prefix and identifying the base of the word to find its meaning. They have also been spelling, reading, and using these words in sentences throughout the week.
Writing Students have been busy revising, editing and publishing their information reports about their chosen fantasy world. It’s been fascinating entering their magical realms they have conjured up through their writing. Here’s a glimpse into their worlds!

Maths
In Maths, students have continued their learning about angles. They have been identifying the different types of angles including, acute, right, obtuse, straight and reflex and began to use protractors to measure angles correctly and even create their own angles. Moreover, students have challenged themselves to identify the missing angles within shapes, particularly triangles.

- Camp: Payment and permission for camp is due no later than the Tuesday 19th of November. Please arrange this as soon as possible.
