High School Campdraft Percentile Cup 2024

The G.I.H.S camp draft team headed for Pittsworth, Queensland on Thursday, 3rd October, ready for an action-packed weekend of Campdrafting. The team comprised Toby Bruce, Angus Cameron, Chloe Klingner, Lachie Cameron, Jake Bruce, Lachlan Munro, Ilyssa Newbury, Jazzy Klingner and Lloyd Newbury. With a team like this, we were bound to have a great weekend. With scores coming in left, right, and centre, we scored more than five 88s and a whopping 90 by Angus. With that, we came away with the win with a very solid average of 88.33. Being the only NSW school, it made it that little bit better. Lachie Cameron placed 3rd overall in the individual final, and Lloyd Newbury placed 6th. All in all, it was a great time, and we would like to thank the High School Campdraft Percentile Cup Committee, Sponsors and cattle donors for a great weekend. Team Captain Toby Bruce
