Numeracy News

This year we had three teams participate in the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) annual contest. Maths Explorer (Year 3), Maths Games (Year 4) and Maths Olympiad Junior (Years 5 and 6).  This competition provides challenging problem-solving opportunities, stimulating an enjoyment of Mathematics and building critical skills and confidence in their working mathematical abilities.  We would like to congratulate all students who participated in the competition and to those students who achieved special awards.  

A huge thank you to Mrs Hill, Ms Norris and Mrs Pieratos who prepared, facilitated and supported our students during each of these competitions.
